What is the best thing about your new lifestyle? 30 minutes!

How long have you been a Curves member? About 3 1/2 months.
What are your results so far? I have lost 22 1/2 pounds and over 14 inches.
What motivated you to join Curves? Health reasons.
What kinds of changes have you made to your lifestyle to achieve your fitness/weight loss goals? Good choices, eating, going to Curves and walking everyday.
Have you ever strayed from your plan? Yes, I do not deprive myself, if I eat more than I should I just go to Curves every day and walk further.
Have you tried other methods in the past? No.
What is the best thing about your new lifestyle? 30 minutes!
What is your favorite thing about Curves? The positive attitude of everyone.
What piece of advice would you give to someone who may feel frustrated with how they are doing? Cut down on food and exercise more.
Is there anything else you would like to share? I feel great and love fitting into all my clothes. Shopping is so much fun now that I dropped 3 sizes.
Do you use our Curves Supplements? How have they helped you? Yes, the Protein Shake and Calcium. The Protein Shake is like a chocolate milk shake, it is great for breakfast, easy to make and you can take it with you to work.

How long have you been a Curves member? August 15, 2007
What are your results so far? I have lost 10 pounds and 11 inches total. Because of surgery on a tumor in my left ear I have developed a balance problem. The Curves program is helping me to improve in that area.
What motivated you to join Curves? I felt I wanted to participate in a group exercise program. One that was workable for a woman of my age. Curves is the program designed to accomplish that.
What kinds of changes have you made to your lifestyle to achieve your fitness/weight loss goals? I have tried to be very aware of the foods that fit into a healthy diet. I take the time to be sure to make it to Curves at least 3 times a week. I have set a personal goal to reduce my weight by at least 5 more pounds.
Have you ever strayed from your plan? I have tried not to, but the holiday season was sometimes a little tempting and once when I had my monthly weigh-in I had gained 2 pounds. This however, proved to be an incentive to really make me work harder.
Have you tried other methods in the past? If yes, how was it different from Curves? Yes, I have. I tried home video workouts and in the community that I live in we have an exercise room. I tried the treadmill but in the final analysis I had no support system.
What is the best thing about your new lifestyle? I finally am able to wear clothes that have been hanging in my closet waiting for me. At my yearly check-up, my doctor was very pleased because all was well with me. That is up to and including a great blood pressure reading.
What is your favorite thing about Curves? I like the group participation, the incentive programs and the encouragement from the staff. I also like how friendly the entire staff is to everyone who attends the program, as a result, making us feel very comfortable.
What piece of advice would you give to someone who may feel frustrated with how they are doing? Keep on trying. Don’t give up. Sometimes it is only a few pounds at a time, but the Curves program will work if you pay attention to the proper use of the equipment. When I had my very first weigh-in I actually put on a few pounds, but the instructor encouraged me not to give up and by the following month I was on my way to achieving my goal.

Do you use our Curves Supplements? How have they helped you? Yes. I love the protein shake. I have a glass after every Curves workout. It is specifically designed for women. I need the advantages of the protein supplement. This helps in my overall weight control program.

I was motivated to join Curves because I didn't like the way I looked.

Becki has been a Curves member since January 2007. Little has changed in her lifestyle for her to achieve her fitness/weight loss goals besides going to Curves 3 times a week and being more conscientious about what she eats and the results have been amazing! Even though she sometimes can stray from her plan, she just refocuses again continues to pay attention to her food choices and gets to Curves 3 times a week. The best thing about her new lifestyle is the compliments she receives and how she feels because she looks better. "It only takes 30 minutes," and that's what Becki finds is her favorite thing about Curves. "Make sure you pay attention to what you eat and drink, it's very important."
